The first stop was at the home of Ennecia Joseph of Douglastan, St. John’s. Ennecia who thought she won $100 dollars worth of credit for participating in a Digicel survey, was a bit stunned when she saw the Digicel Caravan along with camera crew, champagne, and happy cheer. The St. John’s resident was immediately brought to tears when Digicel’s Country Manager Patricia Maher congratulated her on placing third and winning $18,000.00 dollars in Digicel’s Live Free for a Year promotion. 

The Digicel Caravan then journeyed on to Frequente, St. Georges in search of Mr. Edison Christopher the 2^nd place winner in the Live Free for a year Promotion. Mr. Christopher who had just heard on the radio about the Digicel Caravan on the manhunt for three lucky winners, never expected to be one of them.   Mr. Christopher won himself $24,000.00 dollars complements Digicel.

The Digicel Caravan then moved on to the Rituals Coffee shop in Grand Anse to surprise the Grand Prize Winner Michelle Gorden who was having coffee with her mom and sister. Michelle who had no idea that her family was in on the surprise, was brought to tears by the good news. Michelle was congratulated and presented with her award by Digicel’s Country Manager Patricia Maher.

These Three Grenadians have joined eighteen other Eastern Caribbean nationals and will receive monthly for the entire year of 2009, sums of $5,000, $2,000 and $1,500, respectively. 

The selection of the three winners was randomly chosen from a pool of numbers of Digicel customers who have topped up $25 or more, paid their bill in full and on time, purchased a handset, and flex card winners of $1000 and $5000.  The final three winners were selected from a list of random numbers in the presence of Ms. Ria Delves representing the accounting firm W.R. Agostini.
