DIGICEL CELEBRATES 6 YEARS

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA – 19^th October, 2009: Digicel the number one mobile operator in the Caribbean and Latin America has celebrated 6 years of service in Grenada

Last Saturday October 17^th Digicel celebrated with the people of Grenada 6 years of operation in Grenada.

The day’s activities were highlighted with a road show and motorcade which featured unbeatable specials on handsets and top-ups typical to a Digicel launch event. Digicel’s top level managers in Grenada also took the time off to socialize with its customers and join in the celebrations. Country Manager - Patricia Maher, was there and was delighted at the level of support and enthusiasm displayed by villagers from various communities. “It takes me back to our launch event here in Grenada, Patricia explains. She continued, ‘the energy level is pretty much the same and it’s good to know that after 6 years, Grenadians are even more excited and enthused about Digicel. The way forward for Digicel users in Grenada is bright and with the support we are getting we can look forward to bigger and better things in the future”.

The 6yr Anniversary celebrations also included a Staff Cruise onboard the Rhum Runner 1 and a Family Day activity at the Point Salines beach.
